Designing a Luxury Pool Space with Something for Everyone
Maximising the Space
We wanted to maintain a seamless balance between the poolside luxury of a pergola and an expansive surface area of water. To do this, we framed the pergola with a spa on one side and a firepit on the other, giving it the feel of an island among the blue. The pergola protrudes toward the waterfall, with a projector mounted beneath the roof, allowing the space to work in perfect harmony!
Luxurious Materials and Finishes
We wanted to elevate the luxury factor by selecting high-end materials and finishes for this pool build that exudes sophistication. That’s why we opted for sleek and durable pool tiles and natural stone that complement the surrounding environment.
Sectioning the Space in Style
To create the sensation of an isolated oasis while avoiding any sense of confinement, we employed a thoughtful approach to sectioning the space. Natural Grey Stack Stone was used to craft distinct areas, offering both visual interest and a sense of seclusion. Lush tropical plants were strategically placed to enhance the ambience, providing a soft, natural barrier that feels inviting rather than restrictive. Frameless glass fencing was the final touch, maintaining an open, airy feel while subtly defining each section.

Keeping it Natural
The pool contains low-chemical, magnesium-based mineral water. Not only does this make the water feel smooth, magnesium has beneficial effects on muscles and skin.
The Centrepiece: A Convertible Feature Wall
One of the standout elements of this project is the Caribbean-tile feature wall, which combines both elegance and functionality. At its heart lies a sophisticated Silkflow waterblade, adding a serene, cascading effect that enhances the overall atmosphere of the space. But that’s not all—this feature also incorporates a drop-down cinema screen, designed for seamless integration with the outdoor projector.Â
